Playdate with Mason 5-10-10

We went over to a friend's house yesterday for a playdate. We had lunch, played in the backyard, and then went to another park and went on a nature trail walk. We found all sorts of things on our walk. We found a snake, a snail, and some honeysuckle. That was the girls' first experience with honeysuckle and after that they wanted to taste it at all the honeysuckle trees! LOL

We had a great day and finished it off with dinner at Gammie & G-Paw's. We all slept good last night.

Mother's Day 2010 Camping Trip

For Mother's Day this year we all went camping. We went to Fairfield State Park and had a blast. The girls had such a great time.

May 1st Catfishing

So for Daddy's birthday the girls wanted to fish a catfish tournament with Mommy and Daddy. You think I am kidding. Casey woke them up at 5am and turned on the light and told the girls that it was time to get up and go fishing and they jumped out of bed. I was wanting 15 more minutes to sleep:)

McKenzie caught a hybrid that was 1/2 pound short of being the state record.

After we fished for a few hours we went back to the house to eat lunch and take a nap and then we went back to weigh in our fish and go to a fish fry. The girls met a new friend and they played in the water together until the fish was ready. They really had a good time and they keep asking to go back and fish.

Grandparent's Day @ The Little Gym

The girls are in gymnastics at The Little Gym and March 24th they had grandparent's day so they could come and watch and see what they have learned so far in class. Gammie & G-Paw had a wonderful time watching them and then we finished the night off with some dinner.

Feb 11-12, 2010 Snow Days

Yes I know in Dallas snow is unheard of and especially for two days in a row, but it did happen and the girls had a blast with it. Aunt Mimi even came up to see the house and also build a snowman with us.

Princess Tea Party

A girlfriend of mine took our daughters to the 4th Annual Princess Tea Party in Grapevine. The girls had a wonderful time. They got to dress up like princesses and meet Cinderella and Belle. They got a princess lunch and lots of crafts for the girls and shopping for Mommy!!

Ariel Slip N Slide

I bought the girls a new slip n slide last week and it has Ariel on it! I could not pass it up. Today I set it up and they played on it for about thirty minutes. Madison got cold and wanted to come inside and watch a movie and McKenzie chose to stay outside for a little bit longer, but then she got bit by an ant so then she wanted to come inside too! They had a blast on it though!

Piggy Perch Fishing

So this was the second time that we took the girls Piggy Perch fishing and they had just as much fun this time as they did the first time! Madison is more into it then McKenzie (Go Figure). They did catch some fish which made them even more excited. By the end of the evening they were ready to touch them!

New Pool

While Gammie & G-Paw were here they bought the girls a new pool and they think that it is the best thing EVER!! It has the slide attached with a cute little step that is built in. It is pretty darn cool and it is a whale and squirts water to keep the slide wet. The girls had so much fun playing on it.

Children's Museum

Took the girls to the children's museum while my parents were here and they had a blast. It was a really cool place and I will surely be taking them back!!!

Watermelon Festival

After we picked up Gammie & G-Paw at the airport and we ate dinner we had some watermelon outside and the girls devoured 1/2 of a watermelon in about 15 minutes. They did have help from Mommy and Gammie, but still they wanted to eat rind and all!!!

Aunt Mimi's House

While in Dallas we went to my sister's house and she had a little pool (Thanks to Drew and K.K.) and a slip n slide and they had a blast. I think that my children are suppose to be fish!!!

Girls Playing Dress Up

So the girls' went into their room and found their dress up box. They each got their fairy skirts which McKenzie also used for a top, a hat and a purse. They walked into the living room and McKenzie said, "Mommy please open the door we are going shopping." By the looks of things I am guessing they were going shopping for Madison some shoes!!!

32 Month Pics

Hello All,

I know that it has been awhile since I have put pictures on here, but the girls' have been with their paternal grandparents for a couple of weeks and I do not have pictures from them. So today I went and had their pictures made. They turned out AWESOME just like they always do. I have learned that I like more the impromptu pictures and not the posed pics!!! Hope you enjoy!

Easter Egg Hunt 2009

Well we had our Easter egg hunt too! The girls really had a blast doing it. They each ran out the door and went seperate ways!!! It was pretty funny.
